American Custom Agriculture started in Elbert County as a custom hay business, putting up hay on shares or leased property in and around Elbert county and selling it in the local market. The company is owned and operated by Henry and Foster Houts with the help of yard manager Josh Howell. Over the last 10 years, we have worked together to grow the business, producing and sourcing hay across Colorado and surrounding states. When we outgrew selling the hay out of our parents' property, we moved to our current sales location just east of Kiowa on HWY 86. In addition to hay, we've added oilfield pipe, railroad ties, and other products to our inventory. We produce and source a large variety of hay from our network of producers to provide Elbert County with the most competitive price possible. We are not a typical hay supplier for the area as, we are involved in the entire production process and don’t just act as a middleman. We offer hay in all shapes, sizes, qualities, and prices to supply our customers with whatever their operation may need.
